70 Years of Ballet

Located in Fullerton, Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio offers classical ballet classes for kids, teens, and adults throughout Orange County. Students can begin with children’s ballet or adult beginner classes and progress through intermediate, advanced, pointe, and pre-professional ballet training. In addition, our experienced instructors provide high-quality ballet training that helps dancers develop strong technique, musicality, artistry, confidence, and discipline.

Today, Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio continues its long tradition of classical ballet training under the direction of Sheree King, one of Lois Ellyn’s longtime students and dancers. Through this continued legacy, we provide a welcoming environment where beginners and experienced dancers alike can grow, develop their skills, and build a lifelong appreciation for ballet.

Lois Ellyn provides the link:

"As a performer, Ellyn studied under and performed with legends. As the owner of a decades-old studio, she has instructed generation after generation of budding ballerinas."

Nouveau Chamber Ballet

Founded in 1988 by Lois Ellyn, Nouveau Chamber Ballet is a nonprofit ballet company dedicated to enriching Orange County through ballet performances, arts education, and opportunities for emerging artists. Based in Fullerton, California, the company presents classical ballet, contemporary dance, and original works, including its annual production of The Nutcracker.

Nouveau Chamber Ballet provides performance opportunities for youth, teen, adult, pre-professional, and professional dancers throughout Orange County. Through rehearsals and full-scale productions, dancers bring their training from the studio to the stage while developing technique, artistry, confidence, and valuable performance experience.

As an Orange County nonprofit performing arts organization, Nouveau Chamber Ballet makes ballet accessible through community outreach and cultural education programs. The company performs for local schoolchildren, and through its Sponsor a School program, introduces young audiences to the magic of The Nutcracker each December.
